Moncler Down Jackets
The first Moncler down jackets were designed in 1954 to protect workers from the cold. Later, thanks to the intervention of Lionel Terray, a key figure in the history of the brand, Moncler began producing snow suits, gloves and sleeping bags that guaranteed protection even when exposed to the most extreme climates. The result was the first quilted jacket in nylon and down suitable for managing both the mountain and for life in the city. When in 2003 Moncler was bought by Remo Ruffini, the current president and creative director, who was able to push this brand into a global perspective, he worked on the wearability of the materials of men's and women's garments to adapt them to multiple and varied you use, at any time of the day and for any occasion. The quilted jacket today has become an integral part of the world of luxury thanks to the intuition of winning combinations suitable both for life immersed in nature and for the more urban one.
